Parisian Beauties

A customer pointed out this woman's attitude. We had a great laugh over how she has this look on her face like, "How dare you try and make me more beautiful" We laughed so much. The poor manicurist is so irrelevant, she is not even fully in the shot. What a life!

Unfortunately the glitter does not photograph well or really look anything like it does in person with lighting. The name of this one is "Tamara"
This is one of the original group of Wallcards. A dear friend gave me her collection of vintage ads from Paris from the 40s and 50s, and the wallcards were born. I had previously out loud scoffed at glitter and thought it was not a grownup medium, until I found German Glass glitter that just sparkles like diamonds. I was hooked and the Wallcards became like jewellery accessories for the home. They are not a big decor commitment and can hang on a doorknob or dresser pulls. That was about 6 and a half years ago.
Since then I have glittered all my friends (on there clothes and faces every time I hug them which is alot.) and a US wide ad campaign for Nordstrom corporate cosmetics dept. I did ads for Dior, Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Yves St. Laurent, Donna Karan and others. I had to pinch myself.
Now I know glitter has grown up .
Hope you like them!
