Have a great weekend!

I have a great weekend of work ahead. An art installation of white camelias to work on. Almost finished! Yea!

Apartments In Paris For Sale

Love the lanterns.
Interesting shot. I love this color.

A little too Baroque for me, but I appreciate the chair.

Ohh even the back of the Barcelona chairs is beautiful.

This is such a great example of how mirrored furniture can just disappear.

Design Quote for Thursday

Even if it's not a style of architecture or period you like, a decorator has to have a feel for a house's personality and try not to fight against it. I like to get the juice out of a house and not spoil it.

A Very Captivating Paris Apartment

This interesting property I found on the market in Paris. I was captivated by some of the details.
Sconces askew and a certain disheveled aspect make for questions and perhaps a story. I am intrigued.

I had to remind myself that this is a ready to show property for sale in Paris and not a current movie set.
This is enchanting

A beautiful puddle.

I was amazed at the vast space of this property, also a gentleness to this room despite curious ways of display.

Certainly not your average market faire.

Do you think this is a girls room?

I

What a beautiful place to write or daydream.

This room looks a little more grown up, but still has this element of soft rebellion to convention.

I love swags of decoration on the sconces. They look disheveled too. Fascinating.

Then this scene of perfect balance. I've not seen a place quite so peculiarly beautiful. What do you think about this place? I am curious to hear your thoughts.

Design Quote for Wednesday

Interior decorating is the frivolous sister of the architectural profession.

Back after a couple of days

On Monday I had a couple of tests in the hospital which names end with coscopy. Missed a few days, but rested and glad to be back.

Was so happy to see comments. I just really appreciate them. Thank you so much. Hmm......... I would really like to redecorate at the hospital. I think it could be a lot more inspiring. ha ha. Well that's a project for another day. I am really appreciating my blogging friends out there. You have been so kind and really encouraging.

More International Shades of White

Although a lover of color, I cannot deny my preference for crisp light lines that are so easy for the eye to follow. These are some of the rooms I absolutely adore.
These are shots of real estate. both in London and Paris.

The length of these window coverings is just fabulous. .... softens the lines of the bookcase.

A loft in London for sale
Oh to have so little in a room that this Audrey screen could be so capital.

Like I mentioned in an earlier post, alot of the decor in European city real estate is white.

I could live with just this. Mirror, chandelier, and Arne Jacobsen mid century modern chair.... ahhh yes.

Never been too passionate about bathroom fixtures, but this could get me started.

The biggest problem in the free world???? Not enough chandeliers of course!!

Ohhh my heavenly days!!!!! This is my dream place. Mies Van der Rohe, Barcelona series, oversized mirror and these loft windows. ooooohhhhhh aaaaahhhhhhh.

More exquisite Mies Van der Rohe.

White, white and more white. Love it

I am intrigued by this photo

busy, but pretty configuration.

This looks like one of Phillipe Starcks pieces in the background. Oh how I love Phillipe Starcks work.

I adore adore adore this room.

I will never tire of the beauty of a convex mirror or gazing ball. so pretty to see a condensed version of your pretty room.

Perfect tension, for perfect balance.

Isn't this interesting? It is another view of a suite for sale in London. You seemed to like this one. me too.

Boy the stylist got the texture right for so much white. Bravo. Can you imagine showing this as a real estate agent. What a joy.

more fantastic texture and I'm enjoying the orange. This looks like a fun party.

Another perfect example of needed, successful texture plus white.

charming!

I think this style of molding can't be overstated anywhere.
Well have a wonderful weekend!!
Dreams of white!

It is just as disastrous to have the wrong accessories in your room as it is to wear sport shoes with an evening dress.

"Stick to the things you really love. An honest room is always up to date. "

Smaller but just as beautiful Paris Apartment

One of my favorite Eiffel Wallcards.

These whites are spectacular. I could move right in. Can't imagine having a closet this size..

This could very well be the perfect bedroom to me. I would change nothing

The Barcelona series is the perfect furniture design. I'm a big fan of Mies Van der Rohe.

Love the light in this room. Only in Paris could you put these gorgeous chairs at kitchen table and have it look like a beautiful intentional dining room.

Simple fresh room

Though smaller, this Paris Apartment is not lacking in space. Ceiling height allows more flow

A lot of the apartments I have viewed on the market in Paris are for the most part white. It leaves an accessible door to splash color any where and change it as often as you like.

A few more of my Eiffel Wallcards.
